This is a vintage Japanese wood noh mask (noh-men) decoration. This character is the face of the Hannya, an angry woman. It has a demonic-looking face with horns. This mask is attached to a fan-shaped wooden board covered with brownish-red lacquer. There is a red string with tassels to hang the piece on a wall.
