We offer two shipping methods to the United States.
Import treatment depends on the shipping option selected at checkout.
🇺🇸 Option 1: SpeedPAK (Orange Connex) – Tariff Included
We offer SpeedPAK (Orange Connex) with tariff-inclusive pricing for U.S. orders.
Standard Checkout Availability

Available automatically at checkout for packages up to 8 kg

U.S. import duties and tariffs are included in the shipping price

No additional tariff bill upon delivery

Estimated delivery time: approximately 8 days

Final delivery is handled by USPS
This option provides a predictable total cost and avoids surprise import charges.
Orders Between 8 kg – 25 kg
SpeedPAK can ship up to 25 kg, but orders above 8 kg require a custom shipping quote.

We will provide a tariff-inclusive SpeedPAK quote.
🚚 Option 2: DHL Express – Delivered at Place (DAP)
Some shipments (urgent, oversized, or customer preference) are sent via DHL Express.
DHL shipments are sent under Delivered at Place (DAP) terms (also known as DDU).
What this means:

You pay item price + shipping at checkout

U.S. state and local sales taxes are collected where required

Import duties, tariffs, and customs-related fees are NOT included

DHL or U.S. Customs may contact you before delivery to collect import charges
-
These charges must be paid to receive your shipment
DHL may also charge customs clearance or brokerage fees.
These fees are determined by U.S. Customs and DHL — not by Chidori Vintage.

For DHL (DAP) shipments, customers are responsible for:

Refused or Unpaid Shipments
If a DHL shipment is refused or returned due to unpaid import charges:

Original shipping costs are non-refundable

Return shipping costs (if charged by the carrier) will be deducted from any refund
