Vintage Japanese Bow Arrow Display Set
This is a set of bows and arrow (Hamayumi) for display in one's home. Hamayumi is said to ward off evil spirits from the house and bring fortune. It is also a talisman for the healthy growth of children and is often displayed during the Boys' Day Festival (Children's Day) every May. It is a combination of black and gold colors as well as a green braided cord and tassel on the front.
